Asamoah Gyan expected in China on Wednesday

The Al Ain striker will be travelling to China where he is expected to finalise a reported move to Shanghai SIPG
Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is expected to travel to China on Wednesday to complete his reported contract with Shanghai SIPG.
The former Sunderland striker has attracted interest from several clubs, with the Chinese Super League side believed to be frontrunners.
Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who handles the nine-year-old outfit, is keen on bringing the 29-year-old striker on board to challenge the recent capture of Senegalese striker Demba Ba by their archrivals Shanghai Shenhua.
